My final piece was done in Henley College in Coventry because of its ethnic diversity and my target audience which were 16 – 18 year olds.

I took a simplistic approach to this audio piece as I wanted to invite discussions between the individuals. I found the quite difficult as I became attached to it and I wanted the audience to be engaged as if they were part of the discussion. I was extremely surprised at some of the issues that were raised such as the elections in America. The piece also highlighted the materialistic society that we lived as most of them spent money on clothes and hair while some admitted that money will change them
A strength of this piece is the casual approach as it seems like a chat between friends, although it was quite chatty I think that it was controlled and relevant and interesting questions were answered. Although it’s an engaging piece to listen to, the sound levels are unstable and a bit distorted which might make it difficult to listen and it would definitely be some thing I would improve on if I had to record an audio piece again.
